La cena è pronta: Joshua Arky and Ines Irawati in Recital
Sunday, August 26th, 2018, 6pm
Friday, August 31st, 2018, 7pm
You are invited to a fun, bizarre, and wonderful evening of song, food, and drink. We have prepared La cena è pronta (“Dinner is ready”), a recital program exploring the many ways food enriches our lives, brings people together, and serves (sometimes) as our downfall. The musical selections range from Mahler, Vaughan Williams, and Duparc, to Bernstein, Porter, Sondheim, and more. And since we also want to share food and drink with you, we will include dinner and libations at the soirée.
But here’s the kicker: rather than wait to eat at a post-concert reception, we’re bringing the food into the recital. While we perform the recital, Josh will also be preparing and serving dinner. Most of the food served will be Thai-inspired. So come, relax, eat, drink, laugh, and be our guest.
You can choose from two ticket options: either enjoy the full dinner, or come just for the music, snacks, drinks, and of course, dessert.
